Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' or request a "Quote" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your request.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside of the USA, please contact us. First time International orders require wire transfer for payment, upon credit approval subsequent orders will qualify for Net 30 Terms. We will be glad to accept your credit references in preparation for future orders. Please note that TIP TEMP has a $250 minimum for International orders. ( Except Canada ) If we are unable to ship to your location, we will advise you.

SHIPPING TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS? If you need to ship to a different address, please assist us by doing the following: Contact your card issuer and have the alternate Ship- to Address added as an authorized shipping location in your account records or in the memo field. If you choose to ship to an address other than your billing address that has not been specified as an alternate Ship-to Address with your card-issuer, your order may be delayed by up to several days as we complete verification.

We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. We only charge items for items we ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Wire & Heater Orders shipping tolerance: -0/+10% of Qty. ordered. Since we have no minimum order TIPTEMP reserves the right to apply a $10 handling fee for orders under $50.00. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. For orders over $400 we will transmit a pdf order form. This form must be signed and returned. It acknowledges your agreement to our terms and conditions. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice or charge your credit card. We have included this term to protect both the client and TIPTEMP the corporation in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
Shipping and handling charges are unknown at the time of order, charges are determined when the order ships via UPS. Also, UPS now ships based on package size not package weight. It has become a science to prepare an order for shipment. Since we have no minimum order we reserve the right ( when necessary ) to apply a $10 handling fee for orders under $50.00. Shipping and Handling fees are non-refundable.

Delivery Schedule
We will normally ship your order to you within 1 to 3 business days. We will notify you via e-mail or telephone if we will be unable to ship within 3 business days. If your order is urgent, please call 1-888-TIP-FAST and let us know. We'll do our best to expedite urgent orders.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock and we will not be able to ship within 10 business days, we will back order for you. If you need to cancel a back ordered item we are always open to discuss your circumstances.

Credit Card Security
When you place your order with us, your credit card number is encrypted for transmission to us using 128 bit encryption. Your credit card details are decrypted only after they reach our computer. Credit card numbers are not held unencrypted on any web site.

Guarantee
Most of instruments come with a one year warranty. Exceptions are generally noted on the product descriptions. Thermocouples and RTD's carry a limited warranty ( prior to installation ) , call for details. Buyer assumes full responsibility in determining the suitability of these items for buyers intended use.

Privacy Policy
TIP TEMPerature will not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cancellation and Return Policy
Clients who need to cancel orders must do so within 48 hours to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be in writing and signed by authorized personnel or phoned in and acknowledged by TIPTEMP. Most if not all temperature sensors (thermocouples and RTD's) are built to order and are considered custom. No returns or canceled orders will be accepted. Your purchase order is a signed contract. Buyer assumes full responsibility in determining the suitability of these items for buyers intended use. We are always open to discuss your circumstances. Most items come with a minimum one year warranty against defects in manufacturing. Exceptions are noted in the product description. All returns require a RA number from TIP TEMPerature. Items must be returned postage paid to our facility in order to be considered for warranty or refund. Again we welcome discussing unusual circumstances and at our discretion offer ship freight collect. Please call 609-239-1900 to obtain a RA number if you need to return an item. Non defective returns must be in the original unopened packaging with all accessories to be eligible for a refund. Non defective items that have been opened or are missing any parts including instructions are subject to a minimum 25% restocking charge. Defective items will be repaired or replaced per mfg. policy. After 30 days all authorized returns will receive a in house credit for the full purchase price.

Shipping & Handling
Shipping charges are not refundable. For shipping insurance purposes UPS provides $100 protection - any insurance above $100 is charged to the customers order. We do this for your protection since the equipment becomes your property when it leaves our facility. TIPTEMP expects the same insurance coverage when our clients ship equipment back to our facility. Non defective items must be returned within 30 days of the date we shipped to you in order to be eligible for refund. All returns must contain original packing, instruction manuals and be returned postage paid to our facility. We pay shipping back you your location for all valid warranty returns.Refused shipments: We will refund 75% of the cost of the product for shipments that are returned to us as refused. Purchaser agrees to pay all charge back and related costs incurred by us in the event a credit card charge back is initiated by the purchaser for refused shipments. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Since we have no minimum order, TIPTEMP reserves the right to apply a $10 handling fee for orders under $50.00.
