Dan, Just a note to let you know that the new TIPTEMP wireless thermometer units, which I installed yesterday on the eve of the coldest early-March night in my 9 years in Charleston SC, have been working quite reliably, despite the fact that I've deployed them in a significantly more challenging configuration than I had the Honeywell units they are replacing: no line of sight, greater distance - about 15-20 m., more structural obstacles between the units, which are not facing one another as was required to get the Honeywell units even to notice one another! Additionally they were easier and more straight forward to assemble and configure than the Honeywell units, and provide more useful data in easer-to-read displays. I also appreciated that TipTemp's documentation (accompanying paper invoice or packing slip) is thorough and clear. Thanks again for your attention to this small order. The difference in value of TipTemp's quality and service, by contrast to that of the Honeywell units that I've returned, is well worth the difference in price.

Neil, I Want to thank you for your assistance in helping us get the wireless phone dialer and refrigerator temperature monitor finally working properly. Please make sure to show this letter to your bosses because you went above and beyond the call to help us through getting the auto dialer to stop calling my boss at 3 o'clock in the morning. And also for getting us a better sensor for the temperature monitor. Thanks to your help the over $5000 worth of vaccines in our refrigerator are finally safe and we will know if the power is interrupted so we can take steps to move the vaccines if necessary.

Thanks to Dan for the technical assistance in choosing the most appropriate model. I have been "shopping" on line for hours and this unit is far and away the best for our needs. We live in a very old building with extremely thick walls, which may prevent penetration of the wireless thermometer signal. Steve, the salesman who helped me, said he would waive the restocking fee if it did not work out. I would also like to tell his manager what a great salesman he was. Originally, I was going to get a different thermometer, but he suggested a better one that met out needs more accurately. Thank you, Ansley K.

My husband & I are artists & on our 2nd R.V.and have traveled over 120,000 miles in 4 1/2 years with now a 13 year old Maltese,& a 15 1/2 year old Yorkie. In July 07 we were dry camping by an art show in Long Beach Island N.J.,our generator had quit, consequently our A/C had stopped. Thank God we quickly had returned to the R.V. because of a rain storm. Since that episode we have been concerned about the temperature in the R.V. Frantically I searched at camping stores & on the internet, with no luck. A customer heard my story and also searched and found a company TIPTEMP It had a temperature alarm that works with a cell phone & would call another cell phone. It can be set up to either rising temp or lowering temp. Also you can call that phone at any time & check what temp it is in the R.V.. We had set it for 84 degrees. It will then call your cell phone that there is an emergency temp alert and give you the current temperature and then keep calling every 10 minutes until it is reset by pushing the #-key. While doing the Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach in Sept. the alarm called. Unfortunately I was not parked close by so I had to take a taxi back to the R.V. campground. The A/C unit had quit at 1pm . It was up to 89 degrees in the 30 minutes it took me to get back to the R.V. My elderly dogs would have been dead if the alarm hadn't called me. I would not had returned to the R.V. till 7:30 pm. I thank God that I have a TIPTEMP. I wouldn't travel with my beloved pets with out it ! Bev & Ken Wilson BevsGardenArt.com Delray Beach Fl
