The USB Thermocouple data logger accepts any Type K, J or T Thermocouple wire. Depending on the thermocouple, the logger can measure and record temperatures from -200°C. Using the software, thermocouple type, thermocouple calibration, sampling rate, start-time, logging mode, and downloading and analysis of data can all be performed. The data logger features a user-replaceable battery, high and low alarm settings, LEDs to show status of logging and USB interface for fast data download.
The datalogger comes with a long-life lithium battery, as well as red, green, and orange LED status indicators. Temperature measurement ranges include: -130°C to +900°C for a J type thermocouple, and -200°C to +1300°C for a K type thermocouple, and -200°C to +350°C for a T type thermocouple. Temperature resolution is 0.5°C, and accuracy is to within ±1.0°C. Software-selectable logging intervals include 1 second, 10 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, and 12 hours.
How to use the logger:
Install the FREE software using the Installation Wizard
Connect the logger to your PC's USB port after installing the software.
Launch the TIPTEMP EasyLog Software and follow the instructions to program the logger for Thermocouple input type, Sampling Rate, Deg. C or F and Alarm set point.
Disconnect the logger and place in your desired environment.
When logging is over re-connect USB logger to computer and launch TIPTEMP EasyLog Software.
Follow the simple instructions to extract data, a graph will appear.
Save data file to PC's hard drive for archiving and to open in Excel.
Re-program logger for use again.
When down loading data again, don't forget to create a new data file name or you will erase the previous one
