The VM500-3 is a full featured STAND ALONE temperature monitor and alarm system. It monitors both HIGH / LOW temperature and power wherever it is located. It can dial up to FOUR emergency phone numbers, and the integrated voice tells you the temperature and whether the power is on. You can also call anytime and hear the temperature of your home, office, or work area.
It's Easy to Set-Up the VM500-3
Once the system is up and running you can monitor the temperature of any location with a simple phone call. You also get automated alerts by phone if the temperature rises or falls beyond preset limits.
Here's how to set up a typical phone-based temperature alarm system:
Place the unit where you want to monitor temperature.
Plug in the system's power and phone line. You will call the VM500-3 and use the keypad on your phone to program the automated temperature alarm system.
Call up the system from another phone line, and follow the instructions in the voice menu. You will program in four contact numbers where you can be reached by the automated system in an emergency. You also will program in the high and low temperature settings.
It will phone warnings to your contact list every 20 minutes when the temperature rises or falls beyond programmed limits. It will continue to make the calls until you respond by entering the PIN number.
