Apply to a blast cleaned and degreased surface; no primer is necessary. Apply one coat, allowing to touch dry for 15-30 minutes. The best thermal mapping is achieved by an even coat of paint. The preferred application method is spraying. The paint may be thinned to spraying viscosity by the further addition of thinners. Removal of the paint can be achieved by using solvents or an abrasive disc.
Q: The technical data sheet lists the coverage area as "6", what unit of measure is this? meters?
A: 6 square metres per litre applied by brush is a good guide
Q: Is there a recommended depth/thickness for a coat of paint?
A: Normally, 60 - 80 microns is a good guide
Q: Can it be recoated over itself?
A: Yes, as long as the surface is pitted / rust-free and cleaned to allow the new coating to adhere fully and smoothly
Q: Is there a preferred "blast profile" that the surface should be to ensure the best coat?
A: Ideally, this should be taken back to clean blasted metal to gain the best results
