Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' or request a "Quote" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your request. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside of the USA, please contact us. First time International orders require wire transfer for payment, upon credit approval subsequent orders will qualify for Net 30 Terms. We will be glad to accept your credit references in preparation for future orders. Please note that pricing is subject to change without notice. Please note that TIP TEMP has a $250 minimum for International orders. ( Except Canada ) If we are unable to ship to your location, we will advise you.
SHIPPING TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS?
If you need to ship to a different address, please assist us by doing the following: Contact your card issuer and have the alternate Ship- to Address added as an authorized shipping location in your account records or in the memo field. If you choose to ship to an address other than your billing address that has not been specified as an alternate Ship-to Address with your card-issuer, your order may be delayed by up to several days as we complete verification. We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. We only charge items for items we ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Wire & Heater Orders shipping tolerance: -0/+10% of Qty. ordered. Since we have a $16 minimum order, TIPTEMP reserves the right to apply a $10 handling fee for orders under $16.00. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. For orders over $400 we will transmit a pdf order form. This form must be signed and returned or emailed with your acceptance. It acknowledges your agreement to our terms and conditions. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice or charge your credit card. We have included this term to protect both the client and TIPTEMP the corporation in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Also, please note that pricing is subject to change without notice.
Flat Rate Shipping Offer: Flat Rate shipping is offered when the order is placed online. Order value is ≥ $250 will ship UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or USPS. Certain restrictions apply. This offer only applies to Continental U.S. Items that are hazardous, weigh more than 20 lbs. and are clearly marked on our web site do not apply.
Shipping And Handling
Shipping and handling charges are unknown at the time of order, charges are determined when the order ships via UPS or FedEx. Also, UPS and FedEx now ships based on package size not package weight. It has become a science to prepare an order for shipment. Since we have a low minimum order we reserve the right ( when necessary ) to apply a $25 handling fee for orders under $100.00. When the client request FedEx or UPS Next Day Air or Saturday Delivery, they can not cancel the order due to late or missed delivery by FedEx or UPS. Shipping and Handling fees are non-refundable.
For shipping insurance purposes FedEx and UPS provides $100 protection - any insurance above $100 is charged to the customers order. We do this for your protection since the equipment becomes your property when it leaves our facility.
All Product will be shipped F.O.B. shipping point unless specifically agreed to by TIPTEMP in writing. Shipments shall be subject to approval of Buyer's credit. In the case where Buyer's credit is or has become unacceptable, in its sole discretion, TIPTEMP may, at its option, terminate the order, refuse to make shipment or refuse to make further shipments, in each case unless and until payment is made by Buyer or satisfactory security for payment is received by TIPTEMP, prior to shipment. In the absence of specific instructions, TIPTEMP will select the carrier but shall not be deemed thereby to assume any liability in connection with the shipment, nor shall the carrier be construed to be the agent of TIPTEMP. Buyer must provide its own insurance. Title and risk of loss or damage shall pass from TIPTEMP to the Buyer upon delivery by TIPTEMP to the possession of the carrier. Any claims for loss, damage, or mis delivery shall be filed with the carrier. Unless otherwise specified in writing by TIPTEMP, Buyer is responsible for all site preparation and for receiving, storing, installing, starting up and maintaining all Product. In its sole discretion, TIPTEMP may provide a quotation for services to assist Buyer in some or all of these functions if requested.
Delivery Schedule
We will normally ship your order to you within 1 to 3 business days. We will notify you via e-mail or telephone if we will be unable to ship within 3 business days. If your order is urgent, please call 1-800-TIP-TEMP and let us know. We'll do our best to expedite urgent orders.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock and we will not be able to ship within 10 business days, we will back order for you. If you need to cancel a back ordered item we are always open to discuss your circumstances.
Credit Card Security
When you place your order with us, your credit card number is encrypted for transmission to us using 128 bit encryption. Your credit card details are decrypted only after they reach our computer. Credit card numbers are not held unencrypted on any web site.
Guarantee/Warranty/Liability
Most of instruments come with a one year warranty. Exceptions are generally noted on the product descriptions. Thermocouples, RTD's, and other sensors carry a limited warranty ( prior to installation ) , call for details. It must be clear that TIPTEMP and our suppliers are not insuring your products/premises or guaranteeing that there will not be damage to your person or property if you purchase our Products. TIPTEMP or our Suppliers shall not be liable under any circumstances for damage to your person or property or some other person or that person's property by reason of the sale or use of the product we sell, or its failure to operate in the manner in which it is designed. TIPTEMP and our Suppliers liability, if any, shall be limited to the original cost of the Product only. Use of this Product is at your own risk. Buyer assumes full responsibility in determining the suitability of these items for buyers intended use. It must be clear that the Warrantors are not insuring your products/premises or guaranteeing that there will not be damage to your person or property if you use products purchased from TIPTEMP. WARRANTORS' OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT ONLY. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER PAYMENT OR PROVIDE FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OF PAYMENT FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Privacy Policy
TIP TEMPerature will not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

It automatically encrypts information traveling over the Internet, verifies the identity of the transacting servers through certificates and digital signatures, and confirms that the integrity of message content is maintained throughout transmission.
Cancellation and Return Policy
Online Products that display the "Special Order" Icon Badge can be cancelled within 72 hours after the order is placed. Special Order items that are cancelled prior to receipt maybe be subject to cancellation fee. ( We are always open for discussion ). Once the Special Order Item is received it may not be returned for any reason if non-defective. Clients using Net 30 Purchase Orders who need to cancel must do so within 72 hours from the date you place the order to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be in writing and signed by authorized personnel or phoned in and acknowledged by TIPTEMP. Most if not all temperature sensors (thermocouples and RTD's) are built to order and considered custom. No returns or canceled orders will be accepted. TIPTEMP Thermal Advisors are available Monday thru Friday EST during normal business hours to discuss any concerns our clients might have when purchasing TIPTEMP products. Your purchase order or website order is a contract to purchase the items on your order. Buyer assumes full responsibility in determining the suitability of these items for buyers intended use. We make every effort to inform our clients of delivery delays. Orders can not be cancelled due to delayed delivery unless we have agreed to this in writing prior to accepting your order. We are always open to discuss your circumstances. Most items come with a minimum one year warranty against defects in manufacturing. Exceptions are noted in the product description. All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number from TIP TEMPerature. Items must be returned postage paid to our facility in order to be considered for warranty or refund. When our clients ship equipment back to our facility, TIPTEMP expects that they will insure the goods for their sale value. Non defective items must be returned within 30 days of the date we shipped to you to be eligible for refund. All returns must contain original packing, instruction manuals and be returned postage paid to our facility. We pay shipping back you your location for all valid warranty returns. Refused shipments: We will refund 75% of the cost of the product for shipments that are returned to us as refused. Purchaser agrees to pay all charge back and related costs incurred by us in the event a credit card charge back is initiated by the purchaser for refused shipments. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. When exchanging a product due to defect or wrong configuration we will charge your credit card again and credit the same when the instrument is returned and inspected. Again we welcome discussing unusual circumstances and at our discretion offer ship freight collect. Please call 609-473-1283 to obtain a RA number if you need to return an item. Non defective returns must be in the original unopened packaging with all accessories to be eligible for a refund. Large Volume Purchases will be subject up to 25% restocking fee. Non defective items that have been opened or are missing any parts including instructions are subject up to 50% restocking charge. Defective items will be repaired or replaced per mfg. policy. After 30 days all authorized returns will receive a in-house credit for the full purchase price. ( Less Shipping Charges ) International customers must ship any returns to us freight and duty prepaid. Return freight charges for International shipments will be the responsibility of the customer.
Wireless Notice and Disclaimer
The use of Radio Frequency products is tightly regulated by local laws. Wireless products sold by TIPTEMP are approved for use in the U.S. and Canada, but may not be in other countries. It is the sole responsibility of our customers to insure that the local use of wireless products purchased on this site is in full compliance with all local laws and regulations. TIPTEMP, and the its manufacturers will not accept any responsibility for the use of unapproved wireless product in other countries.

Buyer agrees to indemnify Seller and hold it harmless from any and all such taxes, governmental charges, fees, bonds and assessments, and any and all interest and penalties related thereto. Seller may, in its discretion, add such taxes, governmental charges, fees, bonds and assessments to the price or bill for such taxes, governmental charges, fees, bonds and assessments separately.
