ShockDot Impact Indicating Label
Shock-Dot provides a cost-effective solution with the largest indicator window for determining mishandling, alerting handlers that your package requires extra care and reducing damage-related costs. Tamperproof mechanically activated devices, Shock-Dot indicators turn red when a potentially damaging impact occurs. Each indicator is serialized and ensures the user that the device has not been switched during transport. The QR code on each device allows you to verify the authenticity of the indicator and provides peace of mind that you have received an impact indicator from the impact detection experts at TIPTEMP.

1. Mount the ShockDot Impact Indicator in the lower third of the package/pallet as close to the edge as possible. Avoid the center of the package because the mounting locations should be structurally sound.
2. If the package is twice as long as it is wide, use two ShockDot Impact Indicators. Place a second indicator in the same position on the opposite side of the package.
3. Place the Alert Sticker on your bill of lading as a reminder to receivers to check the ShockDot indicator immediately upon arrival.
4. While these instructions are considered best practices, each situation may be different. If you have any questions or would like to reorder, please call 1 (800) TIP-TEMP (847-8367) or (609) 239-1900 or email: EveryDegreeMatters@tiptemp.com.
Note, once placed on the package, the indicator will turn red in either indication window if dropped, thrown or handled roughly with the corresponding threshold.
