🟢 Dual Type R Thermocouple Assembly
This dual-element Type R thermocouple assembly is designed for high-temperature industrial measurement applications up to 2700°F (1480°C). The assembly uses 24 AWG Type R precious-metal thermocouple elements protected within a 3/4" OD alumina tube for demanding elevated-temperature environments.
The standard configuration provides a 24" immersion length below the flange and terminates in a standard thermocouple connection head with a 4-point terminal block. A separate mounting flange is available for installations requiring flange mounting.

Type R thermocouples are intended for high-temperature measurement applications where precious-metal sensing elements are appropriate. Verify process temperature, atmosphere, immersion depth, mounting arrangement, polarity, instrumentation compatibility, and protection-tube suitability before installation. Annual calibration of the complete measurement system is important for maintaining validation and confirming that the thermocouple and connected instrumentation continue to operate and measure properly.
