"J" Thermocouple Extension Grade Wire Stranded
Thermocouple Extension Grade Wire is used on comparatively lower temperature applications and provides electrical insulation, good moisture and abrasion resistance. It has a lower cost and is primarily used to extend the thermocouple signal. Extension wire is usually material that did not meet ASTM thermocouple grade wire measurement accuracy specifications. Typical utilization temperatures of 220°F / 105°C. Red is always negative. The other color-coded wire is always positive.
