2. Unscrew the bottom lid of the beacon and install (2) new D-CELL batteries and select the mode you desire:flashing or steady-burn (Note: The steady-burn will reduce battery life to 200 hours.)
4. Once you have tested the thermostat and found the light operational, reset the thermostat to 35 degrees by turning the dial.
5. Lastly, reattach the top lid by screwing in the (4) screws to each corner of the light. Your Ice Alert is now ready to be deployed for service.
