Calibrated thermometers are a requirement for providers who receive VFC vaccines or other vaccines purchased. CDC recommendation to use a digital data logger thermometer with a detachable probe in a buffered material (e.g., glycol / glass beads ) with continuous monitoring capabilities. The temperature should be easily readable from the outside of the appliance unit.
